Charity fundraising is crowded. Another gala, another golf tournament, another silent auction — the same supporters asked for the same dollars in the same way. MEGABike is none of those things, and that is the point.
Teams sign up, fill thirty seats with staff, families, friends and supporters, and pedal together through your community. Each rider fundraises toward a minimum, so the money is raised before anyone climbs on. Multiple teams can ride across a single day, one after another.
What makes it work is the visibility. A thirty-person bike moving through a downtown with music playing stops people in the street. Spectators line the route, wave and cheer. Your cause is in front of hundreds of people who were never on your mailing list — and every rider becomes an ambassador for it.
We handle the equipment, the drivers, the check-in tent and the running of the day. Your team gets to ride rather than work — which, according to the organizers who have done it, is one of the best parts.
