School Team Fundraisers

Eight teams. One day. One fundraiser.

Every team in your athletic department raises money on the same day — at no cost to your budget.

Eight teams usually means eight fundraisers a year. Eight sets of volunteers, eight rounds of parent emails, eight coaches asking the same families for the same dollars — and one Athletic Director coordinating all of it.

MEGABike replaces all of it with a single day. Thirty seats, one team per ride, eight rides from morning to late afternoon. Players, coaches, parents, siblings and friends pedal together while the music plays and the whole school watches.

Each rider raises a $200 minimum. That is 29 riders × $200 = $5,800 per ride. Each team pays a $500 fee and keeps everything above it — $5,300 net, minimum. Across eight teams that is $46,400 raised and $42,400 back to your programs.

The eight team fees cover the MEGABike in full, so nothing comes out of the athletic budget. We deliver the bike, run every ride, supply the driver and crew, and pack up at the end. You pick a date and confirm your teams.

Every team leaves with its own video and group photo from the ride, and the day finishes with a team meal at a local host restaurant — the part everyone remembers.

Testimonials

"It’s MEGA BIG and MEGA FUN and without a doubt the best team engagement fundraising event we’ve ever been a part of. When a team of 30 passionate and dedicated individuals hop on this giant bike together to pedal for a cause, the energy and enthusiasm is infectious. Each pedal stroke represented a commitment to changing lives and making a positive impact in our community. The sight of the MEGABike cruising through the streets of downtown St. John’s with an audience lining the route smiling, waving and cheering them on was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when we work together towards a common goal.

The MEGABike event provides all the entertainment and fun you need to ensure participants walk away with smiles, laughter and lasting memories. It truly is something special and brings the WOW factor and the visibility that so many companies are seeking for employee engagement. In over 25 years of fundraising, this will forever be my personal favourite event and I highly recommend it to others."

"Organizing the MEGABike event on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie was an incredibly rewarding experience. It was a unique and engaging way to bring the community together while raising awareness and support for our mission.

The day of the event was filled with energy, laughter, and a great sense of camaraderie. Seeing local teams come out, pedal together, and genuinely enjoy the experience was a highlight for us. Many participants shared positive feedback, expressing how much fun they had and how meaningful it was to ride in support of youth mentoring programs.

From a fundraising and awareness standpoint, MEGABike was a valuable initiative that not only helped us generate support but also provided great visibility in the community. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to host such a vibrant event and look forward to building on this momentum in the years ahead."
